Back from a tourif NE England, and while in York spotted a nice stall making necklaces from old coins. Its something I had considered doing myself (along with rings). Quite like these two I picked up made from silver 1/2 crowns.

They are very good. I’ve recently restrung my religious jewellery, turing one scarab necklace that sat awkwardly into a bracelet. It also means I can wear something without tiny baby hands ripping at my neck.
It’s a shame the artist doesn’t seem to have an Etsy store to browse
Ah yes the joys of babies pulling anything in range. 
I don’t miss that! 
There was a lot on the stall when I picked the bits I did, prices weren’t too bad either.
