This has long been a favorite book of mine, even more so with my recent story telling stuff. While it doesn’t match spellbinding writing of the book that started my on my love for Egypt, this being an academic book, it has a lot of value. In particular, the Song of the Harper section which seems to be less broken on translation is my most favorite part of the book.
If you are after a good set of reconstructed materials, then this the book to go for, I do in fact have three editions of this! If you are after a good smooth well written story book then no, there are plenty of other options.
